End of month Start of new!

Well October is done. It was such a world wind month for me. New job,rnand trying to get a routine together. I shopped for food well and prernfroze snack bags with sandwich meat & cooked chicken. This surernhelped! I made my lunch for the next day in the evening and even packedrn2 days @ a time. I think having a simular lunch menu helped. I have 1/2rnww pita - 1 slice fatfree cheese - 1 pack of sandwich meat - I keeprnthem all separate in bags. Then I have slices of cucumbers &rnpeppers packed in snack bags. - In a small container I put some saladrndressing  in. I also have a tiny container of frozen berries. andrna bottle of water or 2 & 2 psyllum fiber capsules.. I just open thernfridge and grab a bag of this and that and put in a plastic containerrnand Lunch is ready. I really believe in pre planning (as you all know)rnI guess I get almost to organized @ times. but I know what my foodrnchoices would be if I didn’t. I have gone down that path before!We arernloving the George Forman rotisery oven. Even clean up isn’t bad. Justrnsoak everything right away in the sink. DH made a turkey in it today.rn(7lb) It was great.  Well now for my exercise…. not much of it rnBUT! I have a plan  I ordered my year swim pass to our FairmontrnHot Springs. It is an outdoor pool and open year round (snow and all!)rnThey have a nice lap pool. I enjoy swimming and DH and I have decidedrnthe days I don’t work we will make coffee at home and put in our travelrncups .. drive to the pool first thing in the am and get a workout in.rnThe passes are effective Nov 1st so I know this will help me throughrnthese cool winter months when we can’t be walking alot. Wish me luck onrnfollowing through with this! I know I can do it - Even if only 2 -3rntimes a week it is better than nothing. So that sums up my food &rnexercise plans.   Well as for Vegas ….baby! I found a dress forrnthe wedding. It is just a simple little black dress. You know I havernalways wanted to get one but never felt good enough about myself to buyrnone. Well when I slipped it on… It felt wonderful - I felt wonderful!rnIt fits nice and if I swim my butt off the next couple weeks it willrnlook even better. Vegas wedding Nov 25th - (my best friendsrnwedding)  I am so excited! it is a very rushed trip. Arrive Fridayrnnight and leave Monday am early! So I guess 2 days is better thanrnnothing. Well Vegas won’t be the same after the small town Canadianrngirl gets there!  We are notrngamblers much but I am excited just to walk around! I should bring myrnpedometer! Hey all!

man do I miss the regular contact! The weekend came on went so fast. Wernhad our 22 Wedding anivers. on Friday. DH had a lovely rib dinnerrnawaiting me when I got home from work. I spent the week working @ therntiny bank branch with a staff of 2! rnIt going to close soon and a larger branch is replacing it in a townrncloser to where I live. I work between 2 locations. I like the largernbranch as it is a bit busier but I have learnt lots at the little placernalso as there is more time to do things. We had a Credit Union Daysrnlast Thursday and I decorated the little branch up with ballons etc. Irnmade posters for the window….. The lady I am working with thought Irnwas crazy and have to much energy! She has been @ the location for 25rnyears. I had her laughing though. Tuesday /Wed this week is morerntraining!Then I get 5 days off in a row!Irnam going to Calgary to shop for a dress for my Vegas wedding in Nov. Wernare going to spent the night and take our time. Boy do I need arnbreak!   We bought arnGeorge Forman rotisere oven for our annivers. I love it! My DH loverngadgets also and it has a timer so he can but chicken or a roast on andrnturn on the timer and then do what ever while dinner cooks. We had arnsmall roast yesterday and chicken pieces today. I have been stillrnpacking my lunches. Today I made two  days worth and put them inrnthe fridge so I am set for Tues/Wed. Breakfast still same old thing andrnDinner - well DH has that handled. It is ok as I do most of the foodrnshopping so all the food is healthy for all of us. I did make up somerncereal bars yesterday. I used Whole Wheat Cherrios - peanunt butter -rnground flax seed, ground hemp (protien) & of course marshmellows. Irnfigured if DH was going to eat them the flax would give him fiber andrnthe peanut butter & hemp gave the protien. Well they had no idearnthat I had spiked the cereal treat! rnSo if they can have a little nutrion in a treat even better! Man I surernhave to get some fitness in! I havn’t gained at all still staying thernsame (been eatting good) but have very little energy! I know part isrnbecause of the huge learning curve I going through. But lack of fitnessrnis also causing me low energy! I have to find a time in the evening tornget with it. I am thinking @ 6:00 when my hubby watches his Star Gaternshow would be a good time to go in the bedroom and do some gazelle workrnout. Then have my evening shower after. Well I am going to give it arntry tonight. Well anyways dear buddies. I am going to try to catch uprnwith as many of you as I can tonight. Thanks for still being there forrnme while I settle into my new life! rnrn

Monday….another crazy week.

Well Buddy world! I am still kicking! has been very crazy last 2 weeksrnand this week will also be intense. They are sending me to anotherrnbranch for training again! My brain is full already but will find morernspace.
rnYesterday DH & I went to the city and bought a bunch of groceriesrnand vegs. So I am set for the week. I am still packing my lunch. so notrnto get into the fast food loop! I find if I make it during super it isrnthe best time as the am is to busy. I am still packing a simular lunchrnevery day. I find it helps as I don’t have to think to much. I am usingrnall my precooked frozen, little bags of chicken (I make in the slowrncooker) and a 1/2 pita, ff cheese slice, cut up vegs. ff dressing. Irndon’t put it together until I am ready to eat it. I also pack a bottlernof water and green tea bags. So I am getting my routine down pack!rnBreakfast is also simular each day. Dinner when I get home is what everrnmeat DH makes and I add a salad etc. I find it is working out great andrnthe pre planning is working. I am still the same weight but need morernexercise. It is so dark so early now but we are still planning onrngetting a pool pass. I know that is what I need.
rnDH and I made up another pile of shis-ka-bobs. on sunday night. We madernup 57 of them and froze them. I also ordered my case of salmon burgersrnso I can also have them quick to cook for dinners. I am missing therncontact here. But next week I won’t have to work as many hours andrnshouldn’t have as much homework.

day # 2 done

Well day # 1 @ wrk went great I finished the 2 moduals of courses the 1st dayThey figured could be 1.5-2 days. Day # 2 today was a brain drainI shadowed my supivisor and watched her @ the till. Wow what a program I have to learn rnI wish they at least had a manual I could review @ home but I have beenrnfranticly making notes! Tomorrow I am on the til and the sup. isrnwatching me! Well all is well!
rnAs for food - I have been eatting my
rnBreakfast:
rn1/2 cottage ch. & 1/2 c applesaucemixes + 1/2c yogurt & fiber 1 cereal mixed  -water & green tea
rnLUNCH:
rn1/2 pita - 75grams chicken - 1tsp mustard & 1tsp dressing - 1 slice fat free cheese slice - cucumbers slices  - water
rnDinner:
rnLarge tossed salad - 2 salmon paties - 2 slices of cheese - mustard.
rnSnack: 1.5 glasses of RED WINE!  Ya Baby!

rnExercise: Walked home - stood all day! Might wear my pedometer tomorrow.

rnWell to sum up the day - weigh in today “STAYED THE FRICKEN SAMErnWEIGHT”! Oh and ya I have noticed my legs are getting a bit flabby Well time to get back in the walkinmode! I know the scale will move once I do.

D - day

Well tomorrow is my 1st day of the job - 2 weeks of trainingIrnam excited but feel positive about it. I have planned my meals. - Lunchrnwill be 1/2 pita - 1 bag of chopped frozen chicken (150grams) littlerncontainer of dressing and some mixed salad. (all of this will go intornmy pita) I am bringing water also. Well not sure if there is a fridgernso I will bring the chicken frozen and it will thaw for lunch. I don’trnwant to get into a habbit of buying lunch as I am kind of cheap andrnwould rather save the $ for something special. I have decided if thernothers go out I can have a coffee or tea with them. and eat lunch @rnwork.
rnWell I have been a bit busy last bit so didn’t get on line. We had arngarage sale on the weekend and went well - then Sat evening I was arnjudge at the local “NDN  Idol” contest. It was fun - they were singing to kareokee Yes Mary you should of been there! LOL  and Hillary you would of loved it also They had food there…But lots of veg & fruit. and some muffin cakes - I did have a tiny bit. Just 1/2 of the muffin rnYa me! and lots of raw veg. so I felt good. I also brought a bottle ofrnwater with me. Thank goodness as all they had was regular pop! So thatsrnall the exciting things I have to report today - I will let you allrnknow how tomorrow goes
