the attack of the cookies!

I don’t know what happened yesterday but  the cookies were callingrnme. I don’t realy like cookies but some how 10 choc. with cream filledrnmade there way to my mouth I am more of a salty / pasta girl but I guess we all go to the dark sidernI was mad at myself as I was quite on track all day. Well today is arnfresh new day - It is rainly so good day to make some veg. soup. It isrn5:00pm and I have made good choices. I have stayed away from sugarrn& bad carbs so far. I am  still logging all my food good &rnbad… boy those cookies sure are packed with calories. rnrn

Yesterday was a little rockie

Had a few challenges yesterday but the day ended great with a walk on the beach. It was my first walk along the water in 6 years. Today I ventured even farther (check out my new photos’s)rnWe went for a hike to some local - remote natural hot springs. I packedrna very healthy lunch. wholewheat pita -salad sandwiches. and had lunchrnby the lake. We went to the hotrnsprings and I even took off my sweat suit (bathing suit underneath) andrnwent in the water infront of other thinner people! and guess whatrnhappened? no one asked me to leave because I need to loose weight rnwe visited with a nice couple from Germany and other people. We had arngreat day came home and had a very large spinach & shrimp salad. Itrnis 3 weeks now logging my food good & bad but I know it is what Irnmust continue to do to loose weight and keep healthy. rnrn

Tomorrow I am going to the city to shop with my friends. We are goingrnto have breakfast @ Zellars and usually Burgar King for lunch. rnI think what I have to do tonight is write down what I will have. Irnguess I will budget my calories in advance just as I have set a moneyrnbudget for my spending tomorrow. I know I can do it and will do it! Irnwill even get a fitness workout walking the mall. (hmm how manyrncalories will I burn shopping?) Till tomorrowrnrn

Great Day

Great start to the day. I weighed in down 1 lb.rnI know I could of lost more if I did more exercise this week. But I didrngo for a great power walk yesterday. I collected my stone and put it onrnmy window sill. I must keep on my path. I have my daughters grad end ofrnJune and I want to be a bit slimmer. I havn’t bought anything yet tornwear I will wait till  mid June and shop then. I am proud of myrnself as I have been recording my food now for 3 weeksI know that is why I have been down. I must keep it up as it seems to be the only way I can keep in control.rnrn

path to health

I have been collecting stones this last week. Every day I go for a walkrnI have been collecting a special stone. Most are flat and smooth Irnguess to symbolize how I want my body to be. I did weigh in and had a 5rnlb loss. I just have to stay focused on my path. I have but my stonesrnon my kitchen window sill - 5 in a row…../ 5 walks./ 5 lbs. I have tornwalk past the stone ledge to the fridge. When I prepare food they arernin front of me.  I want to use the stones to make a mosic picturernof a bridge that will get me off my island of weight  by  thernend of the summer. I  know I can do it… one stone at a time.rnrn

Well what a last couple of days I have had. Tomorrow I will weighrnin….  I had a terrible day yesterday I quit logging my food byrnnoon. It was out of control. Today is a new dayrnI had a great day. I stayed focused. I  logged all my food rnand even went for a walk! about 1 hour. very brisk - we live in thernmountains. Tomorrow I am going toweigh in 210 to start. I ………hoperntomorrow will be a good day. I even have a walking date setrntomorrow. 

good easter eats

Well Happy Easter   Irnhave been loging all my food for a week now on my www.fitday.com rnIt seems to be helping me. some days I seem to consume alot of fats - Irndidn’t realize how much fat eggs have & my love of cheesernwell I think I am going to have to cut back. I did prepare my easterrndinner as healthy as possible. Stuffing - 100% whole wheat with lots ofrncelery & onions, mashed potatoes with only milk no marg.rnadded  and gravy thickend with whole wheat flour (was tastey butrngrainy) . Til tomorrow…

Day 3 South Beach

Sunday - walked for milk 3600 steps / up and down stairs doing laundry . Baked some chicken breasts today so I have some protien on hand. I ate a can of oysters was happy to see they are only 130 cal. 3600 steps

Well today I went for a walk with my trusty pedometer - I used 2 just to be safe the my steps were being counted proper. 3600 steps 1/2 of them are on an incline (mountain town) felt like more but I know they say you should walk 10,000 steps a day for real weight loss. Maybe to morrow I will venture farther the weather looks warmer tomorrow. Will now log on to my fitday.com sight to input my food & exersise for the day.rn

My first week also

Yesterday I stayed in and prepared food (South Beach Diet Style) and tracked all my food intake. My car is in the shop so I walked to the store for vegetables.etc. 15 min walk up hill but down hill coming home! I used my knapsack & two bags. I looked like a pack mule but it felt so great . I even stopped by the lake and took a picture.
